Mr. Anderson came and presented about a business seminar for interested juniors. The event is sponsored by local rotary clubs and will take place in March for two days. It will be at a conference center near Monterey. The key speaker of the event is the owner of the 49ers. Juniors who are interested should come to the informational meeting on 11/9 in the staff lounge. The Rotarian people will come and talk about it. Points will be given for those who attend the event!

Hey Everyone,

If you didn't come, you missed out on Ms. Mendoza's presentation about the NetApp and eBay entrepreneurship programs.
The Junior Achievement Student Company Program is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing young people to succeed in the global economy. In the program, students learn about business and develop entrepreneur skills through hands on activities. It is a free 12 week session where students learn business skills. The program at NetApp meets every Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. The one at eBay is held on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. Members who attend these sessions earn 20 points every time they go!

It's not too late to join though!  Go to www.ja.org for more info or email Ms. Mendoza at [email protected].

Saturday's conference was a great experience.

Those who went I'm sure learned something new and applicable.

Hopefully more will attend next year!
